2010 Season 

Come discover a new chateau -- or, in any case, a more beautiful one ! : (click here to see the pictures)
This winter, a very special project was undertaken. Three windows, one of them monumental, were rebuilt to balance the bare central portion of the slate roof on the chateau's entry side (which features a brick and stone façade, and horseshoe-shaped staircase). The restoration, remarkable amongst national historic monuments (Les Monuments Historiques Classés) tells a compelling story of time, taste, and materials.
To better appreciate the project, be sure to visit the special exhibition in the Galerie des Singes. Alongside the galerie's mysterious and famous tapestries are photos, documents and scale models that detail this latest chapter in the chateau's history of renewal and reinvention.

Saturday, May 29: " Les Fables de La Fontaine" by Stéphanie Tesson.(click here for the program)
On the heels of last autumn's success, other fables will be staged along the promenade in the park.
Sunday, May 30: " Les Caractères et Nouveaux Caractères". (click here for the program)
Wry contemporary portraits, in the manner of La Bruyère's satirical chronicles, penned by living authors. (Theatre-promenade.)

Weekend of June 5 - 6 : 
Journées des Jardins (Garden Days).
Park and chateau open from 10:00am-6:00pm.
Light snacks available in La Foulerie, overlooking the Japanese Garden. Free guided tours of the park (with paid entry).

Weekend of September 18 - 19 :
Journées du Patrimoine (European Heritage Days).
Park and chateau open from 10:00am-6:00pm.

Saturday, September, 25 (to be confirmed) : 
Les Nuits de Musset in the park at dusk, with l’Histoire d’un merle blanc (The Story of a White Blackbird), perhaps under the great plane tree. (Family show.)

Monday, November 1st (evening) : 
Closing of the park and chateau.

Wednesdays, the park is open from 11:30am to 6:00pm (last entry at 4:30pm) with picnicking permitted on this day.

Salon de Thé/Tea Room: in La Foulerie overlooking the Japanese Garden (open weekends only). Available for private functions during the week (for rental inquiries please call 01 64 98 07 36).
